The last week of August was absolutely gorgeous in Montreal with above average temperatures. It really capped off a lovely summer overall. With those lazy summer days behind us, it's time for the students to pack up for school and the rest to hunker down and get back into work mode.
What better way to change gears than to attend an IT event in Montreal. There are a number of interesting conferences that will help you make new connections in the industry, as well as discover emerging technologies and methodologies.
MediaCamp Montreal

The first edition of this event is essentially a lead-in to the more established PodCamp event. The conference will revolve around new media topics, with a special focus on Internet marketing.

The 3rd annual installment of this highly popular (and bilingual) event gathers social media enthusiasts and specialists.

The Art of Marketing
Thursday, September 30th 2010 - Palais des congrès de Montréal
Maybe I'm buying in to the hype too much, but I must say this event probably has the best speaker line-up with 6 “internationally renowned bestselling authors and leaders” sharing their marketing knowledge on subjects such as analytics, digital Marketing, social media and other strategies.
So there it is: a very busy month indeed. Sometimes it's difficult to find relevant events in Montreal every month, but September is a real blowout. If you attend any, be sure to tweet us or message us via other means; we would love to post a follow up article. See you next month!
