Web design events in Montreal for July are always hard to find. Many web designers are enjoying vacation time during our (far too short) summer. This year is no exception, but nonetheless, here is a short list of events for the month.
Montreal NewTech
Like every month, Montreal NewTech is offering a couple of web startup related events. On July 13th 2010 they're hosting the second usability Fix event where you can make or request comments and suggestions regarding software under development. On July 21st they are hosting another co-founders louge where you can get involved in a startup project, or people looking to join yours.
Chips for trips
A poker tournament for startup community is being held in Montreal for the first time on July 19th
Open Web Application Security Project, Montreal chapter
Another free event taking place at the “cole de technologie supérieure” in Montreal. You can learn more about fuzzing intrusions tests.
PHP Quebec
This monthly meetup on July 8th will feature Ben Yoskovitz, fonder of Standout Jobs as well as Mark O'Sullivan, Fonder of Vanilla Forum. The meeting will be held in english only.
